President Trump, Global Leaders Attend Lindsey Graham’s Funeral Service
The funeral service of South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham, who died at the start of last month at age 71, is being held today at Washington National Cathedral. The invite-only funeral service has been attended by many top political figures from both domestic and foreign countries, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Cabinet members, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It is worth noting that the presence of all these top political figures is an indication of the influential role of the senator in determining the foreign policy and national security of the country for more than two decades. It is anticipated that the foreign dignitaries will be receiving senators after the funeral service before Congress votes on the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill suggested by the senator.
